About

“Football Rating” is an unofficial British football clubs rating. It lists the teams from the top 5 football leagues.

All the teams are given the points according to the scores of the games they take part in:

  • 3 points for a win;
  • 1 point for a draw;
  • 0 points for a defeat.

Multipliers

Every competition has their own points multiplier – we call it “League factor”. All the points for the matches are multiplied by their League Factor.

For example

On 22nd February 2020 Chelsea FC beat Tottenham Hotspur 2:1 in British Premier League match. League Factor for this match is 3.

In this rating, Chelsea got 9 points for this match: 3 points for the win multiplied by the League Factor.

Tottenham Hotspur got 0 points for this match: 0 points for the defeat multiplied by the League Factor (still 0 😊).
